We can't provide photos of most of our coins -- this would be impossible -- but you can be assured that our grading and descriptions are based on fifty years of experience in this field. We also provide a short primer for those interested not only in collecting but also investing in coins and other numismatic items. The "Primer" distills the experience of 50 years of professional numismatic experience for the beginner collector or investor. It gives important "tips" about collecting and ideas on how to approach building a serious collection even with a modest budget, if you have the desire to study and apply a degree of imagination and hard work. 

Yes we do buy rare and scarce coins of almost all types before 1950s and pay the highest prices for such items. Please write to us about the details of coins and other items you wish to sell including dates, mint marks and condition, etc.  We are most interested in  rare US and foreign coins before 1860s and especially ancient coins.

If any of our clients wish to communicate with us with questions please do so, but if you have pictures in attachments we don't open them yet (told not to for the moment by our IT person!), so send them by good old U.S. at the mail address (BELOW).  We also urge you to write via the good old U.S. post office. (They do not have SPAM!)  All coins are kept in bank vaults.
You will note that we urge all of you on a number of our pages not to clean your coins, this could ruin their value! Seek professional advice.

If you wish to purchase specific coins simply click on the link at the top of the page for section that has the coins that you are seeking.  Examples include U.S. Coins, Gold Coins, Foreign Coins & Proof & Mint Sets , U.S. Paper Money, etc. You can also buy books and other items (Books and Supplies) in the same way.  All you need to do is note the item you want and send in your order with a check or money order for the total cited plus payment for postage, insurance and handling (see Ordering ).  Note that D.C. residents must also include Sales Tax of 5.75%. You can normally, on up-dated pages/prices, reserve any item by sending us an E-Mail (Orders@CoinsInternational.com). Please include your name, full address, phone number, Fax number, and E-Mail address. Remember others might have reserved earlier, but we will confirm as soon as we can .
